Recently clients have asked me help with stabilizing an old and precious plaster cast. We will protect the original and make precise duplicates for “backup” and will cast in advanced materials to have more robust casts. This project will require some complicated silicone molds.
I was hired to produce “decoy eggs” by creating a rubber mold with actual eggs, and casting special eggs with similar weight and color using durable and non-toxic materials
Another client has asked me to help replicate and re-cast some irreplaceable post-mortem casts. This sort of work must be done carefully to be absolutely sure that the original items are not damaged.
